What a fun PEP RALLY!!!

We had a great time at the pep rally today!!!  Thanks to the high school staff and students for letting us all be a part of it!

A special thanks to the cheerleaders and Coach Saxe for a great visit!  We can't wait for the pep rally (or "pepper" rally as our little ones say :) ) tomorrow!!

Parade FUN...

BAK staff members had a ton of fun at the Homecoming Parade last night!!  It was great to see so many smiling faces!!

PTO Fundraiser Information...

• The PTO Fundraiser ends on October 5th.  Forms will need to be turned in by that date.
• Delivery is set for Saturday, October 27th from 9am-11am at Bluff View School.

1st Grade Visits...

I briefly visited each 1st grade classroom during reading breakouts today, and wanted to share some of the great activities that I observed!

Arianna was making sentences with word blocks during her center with Mrs. Klema.

 Ben and Erin are partner reading!

 Sean is working on some tricky words that he's putting in a, b, c order!

Mrs. Sagedahl's group is talking about one of their stories.

 Students are working on a, b, c order with Mrs. DuCharme.

 Mrs. Campbell's students were reviewing what they read in their story yesterday.

 Mrs. Kordus' students are forming words and writing them on their whiteboards!

 Students in Mrs. Long's group are working on spelling words with letter tiles.

Grape Award, Anyone?

Mrs. LaHaie's 4K team yellow has received the GRAPE AWARD two days in a row at lunch time!!  This award is a moving award for the 4K group who displays great manners and does a super job of eating good lunch portions.

Surprise Visit...

I have a super special surprise visit from a kindergarten friend today!  Carli popped in to show me a memory book that her mom created after their trip to Disney World!  I love it when students pop in to share special things!!
