School Safety Update...
First of all, thank you to the many parents who took the time to read the safety letter. Your help in implementing these things is very much appreciated. As always, if there are questions please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher or Mrs. Stuckey.
Secondly, we practiced a lock down drill today. I cannot put into words how impressed I am with our students and staff at B.A. Kennedy. They implemented procedures perfectly. Please compliment your child on this when he/she arrives home today. I walk away from our practice drill feeling very safe and confident in our procedures and practices.
As the visual states, school safety involves everyone working together. We, as school staff, will make a practice of wearing our badges so that we are identifiable to all. We appreciate parents and community members who are visiting our school for any length of time doing the same with the visitor badges. Thank you for your efforts in making our school a safe place to be!
