Parent Drop Off on Michigan Street...
We are looking for the help of all parents who drop off on Michigan Street. Once again, this is turning into a hazardous place for students to be dropped off for school.
Please carefully read the information below. If we all follow these simple procedures, it will be a much safer place for our students.
*If you are just dropping off your child and do not intend to park/wait on the street, use the RH side of Michigan Street (west side). This side of the street should be fluid movement always for those who want to drop and go.
*If you are parking to walk your child in, please use the LH side of Michigan Street (east side). You can guide your child across the street and also be parked in a place where you are not disrupting the flow of traffic that does not want to park.
Again, the safety of our students is number one and we appreciate your help with this.
Please contact Mrs. Stuckey with any questions you might have.
Thank you!

On 9/9/13 Prairie du Chien Public Schools will release at 1:30 pm due to excessive heat.
The Prairie du Chien Public School policy is that school is to be called off when air temperatures exceed 97 degrees or that the heat index exceeds 105. The latest update on NOAA predicts that air temperatures may exceed 97 sometime around 2:30 pm today.
The Central Courtyard / cafeteria area in the High School will remain open into the evening as a cool safe area for students, and their families, if needed.
All after school activities are cancelled for today.
