Tucker demonstrated bravery and responsibility in the lunchroom today! We had a spill by the garbage can, and there was a milk carton and green beans on the floor that everyone was walking around. Mrs. Mink asked all students to please come forward if they had made the mess on accident so she could help them to clean it up. Tucker came forward, and he and Mrs. Mink worked to clean things up. What a brave and responsible example to set for the whole 1st grade!!
These gentlemen were great listeners at the Fire Prevention presentation this morning. Upon returning to the room, they continued to have a fire school together, which included discussions about proper procedures should there be a fire, reading through their newly acquired material from our local firefighters, and working together to have some great, productive conversation that all were encouraged to be a part of! Nice work, boys!
This ended with our local police officers dropping off sets of packer cards in recognition of the great leadership shown today at BAK! These young gentlemen were very excited to be the lucky recipients! Thanks to our local police department for providing this opportunity for us to work together to recognize the great things in our schools!
