NOTICE!

Due to concrete roadway and curb and gutter restoration, the intersection of Beaumont Road and Wisconsin Street will be CLOSED through Tuesday, April 24^th.

Motorists are advised to avoid the block north and south of this intersection and use alternate routes. Access to local businesses (post office etc.) will be available, however we encourage drivers to park and walk this block if possible. Residential access will be available.

Further construction updates and street closure information will be provided as it becomes available.

April Food 4 Thought...

April Food 4 Thought was all about honey!  The students learned the difference between honeybees and wasps, and got to see beeswax and honeycomb.  Students also got to taste honey.  What a great experience!

John Deere Visit...

4K students had a special visitor today!  Matt Achenbach, father of one of our 4K students, brought down one of their big John Deere tractors!  Students got a chance to learn what Matt does with the tractor and also got to climb up in the driver and buddy seats.  They couldn't believe that the wheels were bigger than the students! 

We hope you enjoy our pictures from this fun visit!  Thanks to Matt and Keri Achenbach for taking the time to teach our students about the tractor and the work it does!

NOTICE! 

Due to storm water, water infrastructure and road construction, the intersection of Beaumont Road and Wisconsin Street will be CLOSED beginning Friday, April 13th at approximately 9:00 am through Friday, April 20th. Motorists are advised to avoid the block north and south of this intersection and use alternate routes. Access to local businesses (post office etc.) will be available, however we encourage drivers to park and walk this block if possible. Residential access will be available. Further construction updates and street closure information will be provided as it becomes available.

Engineering is Elementary

Prairie du Chien elementary students are the lucky recipients of the Engineering is Elementary grant, sponsored by 3M.  This is very exciting news, and affords us the opportunity to provide more of the Engineering is Elementary curriculum within our science rotation classes.  Check out the website listed below: http://www.mos.org/eie/.
