Looking for parent help...
There are 2 issues that we are looking for some parent help with:
- Our drop off area in the morning is unsafe for children. If you plan to park and walk your child in, that is fine --- but please do not do so right in the front area by the sidewalk. Move to a different block and park. Parking right in the front and staying there creates a dangerous situation for parents who want to drop off and be on their way.
- The back door (playground door) locks at 8:05am. If your child is arriving to school late, you must bring him/her to the front door and check him/her in with the office staff prior to heading to classrooms. Again, we want our students to be safe and coming in to a locked door is not a safe situation for our young students.
Thank you for your help with these items!

Fire Safety Plan Reminder...
Just a reminder about Fire Safety Plans... Taken from Mrs. Landt's Blog:
Please discuss your Fire Safety Plan for your home. It is very important that your child knows what to do in case of a fire.
If your child returns his/her Fire Safety Plan (which can be found in his/her fire safety goody bag) by Tuesday, October 16th, his/her name will be put into a drawing for a free bike. There will be one boy and one girl winner from BAK. Please make sure that your child's name, your signature, and his/her teacher's name are on the Fire Safety Plan.
Thank you.
Thank you.
