Breakfast...

This is just a reminder that when there are 2 hour late starts, breakfast is not available to students.  We had many students asking about breakfast today, and we are hopeful that they are getting breakfast elsewhere on these mornings when weather prevents us from starting school on time.

Thank you for your help with this!

2 hours late...

We are running 2 hours late this morning due to drifting.

Why I have the greatest job in the world...

Comments like this from our young students are great reminders of why our jobs in education are the greatest in the world!!
The following exchange was shared with me by Jann Sturmer, mother of 4K student Laura Sturmer.

Jann, "Honey, if you are having problems with a girl at school you can talk to me or Mrs. LaHaie."
Laura, "Nah... I can just talk to the queen."
Jann, "Who is the queen?"
Laura, "Mrs. Stuckey!"

As educators, we have the pleasure of hearing these great comments each and every day.
As I said above... a great reminder of why we have the best job in the world.

We Love Food 4 Thought...

Last Friday, our Food 4 Thought of the month was about dairy products.  Jake Wedeburg visited our school as a representative from his family farm and Organic Valley.  The students had a great time with the hands on activities that were planned.  We love Food 4 Thought!!
